These are a few photos from the recent Embrace of the Earth Ceremony that was filmed as part of a 2 hour special on the History Channel. This ceremony is supremely private so what you are seeing is but a tiny part of what actually takes place.

The 10 tombs are almost complete and just need to covered with Earth. Once that is done we all take a few hour to shower, eat, and rest. Then after the Sun has departed, and after much preparation working in circle around the central Fire, each initiate goes into to the tomb with the help of the facilitators to make sure they are comfy.

Then my helpers and I hold the space and help inspire visions and dreams by feeding the energy of the Fire.

The communication and intensity builds throughout the night.

We begin to connect to the Earth, Fire, and other Powers at a level more powerful than words.

Until we are One and the separate reality has appeared in front of us.

Then after much journeying it is time to emerge. In this photo Zach is the last to be brought from his tomb and film guys are right there. We begin to uncover his tomb.

Here I am for the first time! I have completed the Rite of Passage. The Earth has Embraced me all night. What will I do now and what does this new world of perception have in store for me? Wow. Endless possibilities await.
